Every bottle is inspected before dispatch and seated in custom-molded, impact-resistant pneumatic packaging. This guarantees that your order arrives in the exact pristine condition it left our European cellars.
1Delivery Timelines (South Korea)
- Dispatch: Orders are processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days.
- Transit: Priority Air Freight takes approximately 2-3 business days.
- Customs: Clearance usually takes 1 business day, provided your PCC (Personal Customs Code) matches your name.
- Total Estimated Time: Approximately 3 business days from checkout to your door.
Taxes, Duties, and Customs
The price you see at checkout is all-inclusive. It covers the bottle's cost, transit shipping fee, and all South Korean customs duties and liquor taxes (no additional payments required).
By law, South Korean residents receive tax reductions when importing 1 bottle max (under 1 liter and under $150 USD) for personal use. Anything exceeding this threshold does not qualify for exemptions, and base tax rates (up to 211%) are applied. To provide a seamless experience, Whisky War prepays all associated taxes on your behalf. When your item reaches Incheon customs, you may receive a standard clearance notification via KakaoTalk/Email, but you will not need to make any additional payments to the customs office.
Returns & Cancellations
Due to specific international trading laws governing alcohol and food safety, all sales are final once the product has been dispatched.
If you wish to cancel an order, you must do so before you receive your dispatch notification. Contact our VIP support immediately.
In the highly unlikely event that your bottle arrives damaged or is lost in transit, Whisky War guarantees a full replacement or refund. You must document the damage with photographs including the original packaging and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
